If you haven’t already, it’s time to recognise and accept that many things will come and go in your life. Friends, Colleagues, Jobs, Homes, Cars to name but a few.
The only thing certain in your life is YOU. You are guaranteed to always be with you, no matter what comes and goes.
Knowing you are going to be the only constant, it is vital to master the being that you are, all that you are and even more than that.
To look inwardly, to observe, understand and acknowledge what is going on inside can lead to the ultimate fulfilment and true contentment.
Introspection will be enable you to step into any situation holding your authentic grace and deep knowing’s of who you really are, under the surface of all the adventures and distractions.
Living life from a state of ‘home’.
Living life through an unfiltered lense.
Living life with a full heart and a spirited soul.
What small steps can you take today to master the art of introspection?
Have you consciously chosen your direction? Have you chosen your current life? Do you choose what you do every second of every day?
If not, would you like to? And Why aren’t you?
We are brought up in a world governed by society and bound by its views. Which in turn leaves us in a realm of inherited life.
All it takes is for you to break through your own barriers to giving yourself this opportunity.
All it takes is really understanding and becoming who you are so you can create your own book of rules.
Get started on creating your own book of rules, otherwise you will live forever bound by the rules around you being created by someone else.
Until next time, keep learning & keep growing.
A new client came to me with the belief she was too shy to be able to perform a speech at her work. This shyness had caused her a lot of stress and anxiety. When I asked why she believes she is shy, she said because she is an introvert it stops her from doing so much!
This a common belief and one that needs some clarity.
By now, you know I am not a fan of labels as we are always so much more than what a text book tells us we are. However understanding existing labels is vital if you are going to apply them to yourselves!
Introvert and extrovert are simply labels for where one draws their energy.
Introverts are more likely to draw their energy from more solitude than someone else, perhaps enjoys reading or writing or socializing in smaller groups.
Extroverts are more likely to draw their energy from being around lots of people, noise and high energy activities.
This doesn’t mean an introvert doesn’t like high energy activities and extroverts don’t enjoy...
We have certainly entered the era of gratitude. It’s being talked about all over the place and this makes me so happy to see!
I just want to check in with you and make sure you’re getting it right… there are so many ways in which to express gratitude. The most common advice out there is to simply recognize and say thank you for at least three things every day.
Even though this is good advice and will kick start the habit there can be sooooooo much more to it.
Gratitude is an emotion to be felt, it is not about waiting for something external to show up to be thankful for. It is about initiating it within.
Close your eyes and become one with your senses.
Take your gratitude to the next level by internalizing the feeling.
Until next time, keep learning & keep growing.
Do you know someone who only posts pictures of themselves online, or only ever talks about themselves? Oh yes, I’m sure you have – these folks are out there!
These people might be our friends, our colleagues or even our family. It’s important to find the balance between showing off what you have or what you can do and show up for those people who count on you.
Take the fitness industry in the social media world as the example. There is a countless number of trainers who post video’s and photos of how strong or how good they are (usually with their shirts off).
And that’s great if all we really want is a bit of eye candy and a glimpse of inspiration. But what is actually helping their audience? Where is the education? Where is the value? Where is the trainer who sings the praises of their clients? The answer is, few and far between.
Most of these ‘influencers’ are being paid to post certain brands, many are becoming even more...
Are you ready? Are you truly ready for the next level? Are you ready to take yourself to new heights?
True readiness is about knowing there is always a risk something won’t work, or you may not succeed first, second of even more than three times but you do it anyway.
If you’re on the fence, reflect on these 3 questions:
What will your attitude be IF you fall?
It’s inevitable we will fail at some point; what matters is how your attitude will be. Do you have your emotions in check? Are you going to sulk like a child or are you going to be the resilient adult you are and learn?
How will you pick yourself up and continue?
Will you learn? Will you try a new strategy? Will you innovate? Will you get support?
How many times will you keep trying?
If you have a limit on how many times you are going to try then this reflects the belief in your mission. Relentless action and consistency will help you fly!
If you can answer with a solid plan then you are ready for anything. ...
The world and his wife could love you but if you don’t have something you love you will never feel that full sense of satisfaction.
It’s easy to allow a relationship to define you and your identity however what happens if you have some space from that relationship or it ends? Usually when this happens, one finds themselves lost.
Give your full self to your relationships but ensure you are giving from a place that’s already full.
It’s time to acknowledge and embrace those who love you and of course love them back BUT it’s also time to focus on what you love.
What makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside? What excites you? What makes you get out of bed in the morning?
Once you figure this out, you will learn how to be content without relying on anyone else.
If you don’t know what you love, keep trying new things until you find it.
If you want true satisfaction and contentment, understand you are what you love not what loves you.
Why do some people get influenced by others and some don’t?
Well this comes down to how well they know themselves.
When someone really knows who they are and what they want they will not falter no matter who tries to sway them. It’s not because of the levels of their will power, it’s because of their levels of clarity and commitment.
Do you find yourself falling out of good habits when you’re around other people?
If this is you, take it as an alarm bell for your own personal growth. When this happens it’s an indication you have some work to do, in order to become your full, true, authentic self.
You have some questions to answer, some beliefs to shift and some core values to specify.
Once these are in play, you will have the power to keep set on your own path with unwavering commitment or influence.

We all know we should exercise to keep physically fit.
When we exercise we tend to follow a programme and we break it into phases and take it one step at a time to achieve our goals.
Yet, rarely anyone talks about keeping mentally fit. We need to raise our levels of mental fitness in order to keep growing and to keep a healthy mindset.
Here’s a few exercises you can do on a daily basis:
1. Have a 15minute detox from ALL technology
This seems like such a small amount of time, however it can be a struggle to switch off in this new age. Stay away from all screens during this time. Do your best to get outside and take in some fresh air and show yourself how you do not need to have a distraction or a hit of instant gratification every 30seconds.
2. Notice 3 things you are grateful for
This has been proven over and over again, gratitude will naturally help you appreciate more of what ups already have, it can help you to remain grounded in life and to see life situations in a...
Hang on... Before you shoot me down, I DO believe the first step in becoming an expert is to never stop being a student.
Too many people spend countless hours learning but are completely lacking on taking action!
A study showed that 99% of people who read a self-development book stop there. Only 1% of people take some action and practice what they’ve learned.
It doesn’t make any logical sense as to why we would spend hours taking in all this information and then hoard it without implementation.
If it’s not logical it boils down to emotional. People don’t act because they buy into their emotional excuses of all the reasons why they can’t or don’t.
If you want to be the most effective person you can be, join the 1% and start taking action and don’t give into to your own excuses.
All it takes it's a simple decision to become self-aware. Self-aware enough to understand your 'why', to understand what your North Star is.
